I'm not big on conversions, but I actually liked the 3D conversion of Top Gun. I'll probably stick with that release with the lenticular slipcover.

I think it looks good. They could have done a lot more with this though. I think it could have been better with a design similar in style to the Canadian Lone Survivor steel.

The front cover artwork looks ok, but would have looked better with a shot of one of the dog fights between the F-14 & one of the Mig's. The back art work I think they were trying to go for the dog tag look, & could use something else added to it.

Its the same artwork as the plastic case 3D release isn't it? The play.com version isn't too expensive on ebay but I'll take this for $18. Will ask a friend in NY to pick one up for me.

The front looks fine to me. Slightly more dynamic than the poster art. That back artwork looks really out of place though.

@altermann - That pic you put up seems to have a border on the front and back. Could be embossing on both sides?
