Today marks the second annual global celebration of the Alien franchise, and toy company NECA has kicked off the festivities early this morning by putting a brand new Aliens action figure up for grabs. The toy, an Alien Day exclusive, recreates Kenner’s vintage action figure of badass Aliens character Vasquez, portrayed by actress Jenette Goldstein in James Cameron’s ’86 sequel.
You may remember that NECA released their first-ever figure of Vasquez last year, based on her look in the film, but this new toy pays tribute to Vasquez’s ’90s appearance on the toy shelf.
Celebrate Alien Day 2017 with a special edition tribute to the classic Kenner Vasquez figure from the early ’90s! Private Jenette Vasquez comes with knife, sheath and pulse rifle accessories.
The 7” scale figure features the likeness of Jenette Goldstein, and has over 25 points of articulation. The blister card packaging is an homage to the classic as well — it’s the perfect companion piece to the 2016 Alien Day Exclusive Ripley action figure!
