Vios dbr1100 Blu ray player BR region changable + region free DVD

This players are being sold at walmart and Soriana (local supermarket) for $750 mxn ($52.43 USD)

DVD region can be set to FREE and Blu ray can be changed to A, B or C manually.

To change the BR region:

1- turn it ON
2- press the eject button (green) to eject tray
3- press return button
4- press "2222" a window will appear with: #input corresponding number
current Bd code", press new BD region code (1A-C) : press 1 set A press 2 set B press 3 set C, press "select" button to exit.
5- press "enter" and turn it off, region has changed.
6- repeat the same step to change to other region.

Set region free for DVDs

1- turn it ON
2- press the eject button (green) to eject tray
3- press return button
4- type "0000" a window will appear with: #input corresponding number
current region code, press new region code(1-8) : press SELECT key to exit, press "0" for region free
5- press "enter" and turn it off, region has changed.

I have this player for my daughters room will try it tonight and will post my results but seems to work from a trusted source, this is a very cheap and slow player that's why I got it for the kids room.

DVD player region free set, have many R1 kids DVDs

BR player changed to B and I was able to play LotR FotR French, Apolcalypse Now Redux Italy and Terminator 3 Germany
