As it's customary, the nominations were tallied until January 15, 2017 from our nominations threads and each of the 18 most member-nominated titles in the Best Finish/Embossing or Debossing category is now a contender in our poll.

Lenticular Edition was a 2016 release
1/4 Slip was Dec 2015 but most only got delivery in 2016

they were both on 2015 list for steelbook embossing.

Fifth Element for me, deserved a vote in at least one of the categories from me

I also went with Kimchi's Fifth Element. HDzeta's T1 and Nova's T2 are both great, but the uniqueness of the Fifth Element's design and fantastic implementation won out in the end. I still think it would've been slick to have the back of the steel debossed to mirror the front, but I may be alone in that.

Honorable mention goes to Last Action Hero. Every bit on the cover is either embossed or debossed, making an otherwise ugly mustard yellow steelbook pretty appealing.

I don't think it met the requirement of being in customers' hands before the close of 2016. It'll certainly be a strong contender next year; that badge is just perfect.
