It's not like 999 CZK ($39) is outrageous for a premium release. It just puts it in the same ballpark as the premium release coming out of Asia.

Still, as I was finding a spot for my new FAC Dredd lenti (1099 CZK) on the shelf, I couldn't help but wonder how their superb WEA Birdman release shipped just 12 months ago at 699 CZK. Have they addressed the rise in cost for anything other than the new "3D lenticular rendering" process?

Which is completely fine. And i agree with you. But the problem here is the quality is not similar to Asian releases.

You should seperate the single group into 1disc set, 2disc set, 3disc set, and only then the price trend can be revealed.
It is not hard to be aware of that 1disc set 799-->899, 2disc set 899-->999....

They should have played it safe and have the title simply be "Warcraft" (it's called that or Warcraft: The Beginning in some countries, but judging by the box-office performance, it's likely to remain just a beginning and I'll believe there'll be a sequel only when the cameras start rolling).

I believe Warcraft is a success based on the Worldwide Boxoffice, especially in China.

The film still lost money though according to analysts (despite grossing $220 million in China, it only grossed $213 million in the rest of the world, including $47.2 million in its home country, out of a 160 million budget excluding a massive marketing budget and overall it's not quite a success and a sequel isn't a sure thing— if there is one, the whole cast's gonna be Chinese and it'll be shot in China imo).
