sounds like a fitting end for a coach who got a contract extension in 2005 for "almost winning a game."

its obvious the man doesn't belong in college football. but dont feel sorry for CW, he'll find a nice cushy job back in the NFL and will probably find success again.

I certainly don't feel sorry for the guy, he has a super bowl ring and he got roughly 1 bajillion dollars for that medicore stint at Notre Dam. I wish they had kept him though, I can't stand Notre Dam..... ESPN is only further fuel since they won't shut up about them, winning or losing. And don't get me started on Lou Holtz
