Anyone got a projector currently? Overall thoughts on it ...

My Projector, took all of 10 minutes to install it. Very happy with the results.
Will tidy up the cabling when I get some PVC conduit next week.

Just installed my 92" Screen which was a doddle.

Roll the screen down when I want to watch something BIG and roll it up when I want to watch TV or something in 3D.

One of the business teams where I work disbanded, due to the problems in Egypt, Algeria and Libya so the team admin gave me a projector as a thank you. It's a Dell 720P DLP unit. 200 Hrs on the clock + a spare bulb. Nothing fancy but very nice nonetheless. Will try it next weekend. I'll compare technologies (LCD Vs DLP)

I installed an Epson 3010 and a 119" Da-lite high gain screen last year.

Absolutely love it!

I just retired my (very ageing) Panasonic AE100 and replaced it with an Optoma HD25.
I stay in a rented flat, so I don't have a screen, but just project onto a nice flat matt grey wall and it looks pretty impressive - particularly in 3D.
Looking forward to really breaking it in over the winter months!

Just setup my BenQ W1080ST with a Vapex 106in Electric Screen. Very happy with it.

Those white walls in most of everyone photos hurts. . I painted mine dark green at least for visual appearance and projector reflection minimization/contrast.

Just finished watching my 2nd favourite movie of 2013. Not a point of bragging but I have to say that the blacks on my 2006 720P projector are better than anything being offered by Epson or BenQ in 2014. Spock's hair actually showed a blue tint, whereas Khan's was brown tint. Some photos were taken on my Fuji bridge camera and the rest on my iPhone 5s which gives a much more accurate colour.
