Just got my full slip today. It's a nice gritty finish with spot gloss; feels great in hand:


The steel has a satin finish all-round:


EDIT: Was working on a follow up post with more impressions and pics, but I've just found out my wife went into labor, so I guess it'll have to wait!

Really impressed with how quickly these arrived, only 6 days after release! The Special Box is something pretty impressive in hand. Drives me nuts though how the Kimchi Number Card are always hanging off, they need to get better stickers!

Sooo. Tony and EMS have done their part. New Zealand post on the other hand are a bunch of a-holes. I called them today to find out where my Special Box was. Still hasn’t arrived, still in transit they said. And so says their tracking tool. But Korea Post EMS are fantastic and scan all the way. In fact they scanned the parcel ‘arrived’ in New Zealand on the 21st, and another scan to say they handed over to ‘destination postal service’ on the same date. I pointed this out to the twanger on the end of the phone, who after viewing the Korea EMS tracking site, said she had no idea. No idea! This is about the tenth time I’ve snapped them dragging the chain. Why is this a problem you may ask. I pay huge $$$$ to select Express Shipping. Now they tell me I will probably get my parcel early next week. So I may as well have just shipped KPacket. Pisses me off. Sorry to rant, but I’m sure you guys can appreciate the frustration when you get second class service.

Gently remove the lenticular, then paste it on the fullslip. Easy.

Even though it's proven to be difficult, I'd ask Tony if a replacement can be arranged somehow.
The only time a saw a steelbook with a spine print misaligned this bad was in the Manta Lab The Revenant thread. But it came only close. Yours is worse for sure.

(My copies are still stuck in customs, so the terror continues.)

Yeah well I don't know about that. I would have to send my copy back and all, and then wait for the new one to arrive, don't know if it's worth the trouble. I'm not so keen on spines anyway.
Maybe someday I will ask drumass from the other forum to make me a custom one.
Or I can trade my Steelbook for yours just for the fun of it.

I have to say I'm really digging these ultra matte steelbook releases from blu collection lately. It's a nice contrast to the usually almost always glossy premium steelbooks.

A lot of collectors prefer glossy steelbooks but I find them a nightmare in regards to damages and scratches! I really dig matte finishes if it’s done right!

I just received mine. It's pretty good. Good side to side transition and decent depth. Just not a lot going on. Figure walking, footsteps in the snow, and some mountains in the distance. The line "From Taylor Sheridan" is recessed nicely behind the footsteps.

Got my full slip today. A real classy package and the steel is a lovely smooth non streaky high quality matte/ zero finish
