Australia Coming to Blu-ray!

20th Century Fox has announced that it will bring their epic romantic-drama AUSTRALIA to Blu-ray.  This film received mixed reviews and earned just a tad over $50-million with a budget estimated at over $200-million whilst in production.  The film’s stars and native Australians, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, take part in this visually stunning film that should be a great demo piece with spectacular scenic views in 1080p Blu-ray Hi-Def.  Lest we not forget about its DTS-HD lossless master audio 5.1 to boot.

Loaded with extras, it will include a 9-part documentary, Australia : “The People, The History, the Location” featurette, deleted scenes and more.  All of this is coming on a BD-50 disc and releasing March 3rd.
