Seraphim Falls and Dog Soilders Announced for Blu-ray Release!

Many may not know what “Seraphim Falls”  is, and to those people I say you’re in for a treat!  I really like this movie and will definitely be buying it.  The film stars Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson and is a bonafide “Sleeper” … And I dont mean “ZZZZzzzzz”  I’m talking about a good movie that most people slept on as they never knew it came out.  It’s definitely worth a watch, or even a buy, especially if your a western buff.

“It’s three years after the civil war, and Morsman Carver (Liam Neeson) is leading a small hired posse, including Pope (Robert Baker) and Parsons (Ed Lauter), to track down Gideon (Pierce Brosnan) through the snow-covered woods of the ruby mountains in New Mexico. While his posse is in it for the money, Carver appears to have more personal reasons for going after Gideon–and demanding that he be taken alive. But in David Von Ancken’s exciting western, the audience is kept in the dark for most of the movie as to just why Carver is so determined to hunt Gideon down and meet him face-to-face. In fact, the script, written by Von Ancken and Abby Everett Jacques, also keeps viewers guessing about which of them might be the hero and which the villain, blurring the distinction between good and evil. ” Amazon.com

The film releases on Blu-ray via Amazon.com on March 17th and no tech specs have been released thus far.

Dog Soldiers has also been announced for Blu-ray.  Although I have not seen Dog Soldiers it actually seems like a good flick worth a watch.

“A band of soldiers is dispatched to war games deep in the woods. When they stumble across a rival team slaughtered in camp, they realize they’re not alone. Something deadly waits in the darkness; something not animal and not human. Holed up in an abandoned farmhouse, the soldiers start a bloody battle against the beasts. Dawn is only a few hours away, but they may not live to see it.” Amazon.com
