Universal has announced that the previous HD-DVD release of The Last Starfighter will be receiving a Blu-ray treatment. The Last Starfighter: 25th Anniversary will be releasing on August 4th. Universal also revealed the technical specifications and supplements for this title.

The Last Starfighter 25th Anniversary [Blu-ray]
I watched this as a kid and will probably pick this up. I have the DVD, but might look into upgrading this one. It's a cool idea to use a video game as a training simulator for real space battles. Woo-Hoo!!!
