Sci-Fi fans get ready to have one happy frakin’ New Year because Universal has announced a January 5th, 2010 release date for Season One of Battlestar Galactica. The reboot series which aired in 2004 on the SciFi (SyFy) Channel follows an armada comprised of the last human survivors as they set out in search for a new planet and attempt to escape eradication from the ruthless robotic race known as the Cylons. The release will also include the 4-hour miniseries that led to the show getting picked up. Blu-ray details below.
