Dell’s Inspiron Zino HD – the Blu Ray box for just $229!

What’s a cheap little PC, with HDMI and 802.11n Wi-Fi, a dual-core Athlon X2 3250e processor, 4 GB RAM, a 25oGB hard disk and plays Blu Ray?

What’s a colorful, powerful little box with  a  name that rhymes with El Nino? Look no further, its the Dell Zino! (The Dell Inspiron Zino HD actually, but that doesn’t rhyme with El Nino, does it? C’mon, make me look good! 😉)

Inspiron Zino HD

This baby is no gaming monster or video-editing mammoth, mind you. Its just a PC, and a good Dell one at that. For something that has a TV Tuner update in the pipeline, it’ll set you back by just $498. And if you fancy any of those colors other than Piano Black below, that’ll be a $10 plus.Inspiron Zino HD

That $498 is for the higher-end Zino. If you want to replace the Blu Ray with a DVD burner (why?) and can make do with 2 GB of RAM, and a single-core 1.6GHz AMD Athlon 2650e, the lower end version will cost you less than half of that price, $229.

So there it is, the dollar-friendly all-in-one adorable living room PC with Blu Ray that you can hook up to the TV and to your other computer for an instant addon PC and Blu Ray playback to boot. Sweet.
