How many times haven’t you seen around the net or been asked by someone about Star Wars on Blu-ray? I know I get asked a couple of times every time I see a relative or a friend who grew up with the films, which is ok, I can understand the sentimental value that it represents to some. Anyway, if you think you’ve had enough, I wonder what 20th Century Fox Managing Director Chris Dunn has to say. In a Panasonic event held in Australia, Mr. Dunn was asked, yet again, when can the masses expect Star Wars to be released on Blu-ray? Well his answer wasn’t too positive, but also wasn’t negative. Dunn mentioned to the media that “one would need to ask George Lucas”, seeing as the last time the trilogy made it to the shelves was back in 2004 it is uncertain when we will see its release in HD.
