After Dark Horrorfest Favorites come to Blu-ray

Lionsgate has announced four volumes of After Dark Horrorfest blu-ray double-features to be released on January 4.  Each double-feature release will include two horror films as well as bonus content.  The Gravedancers and Wicked Little Things: Unrated Director’s Cut are in volume 1. While Borderland: Unrated Director’s Cut and Crazy Eights are in volume 2.  Volume 3 contains The Broken along with The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations. And finally volume 4 is The Graves and Zombies of Mass Destruction.  Check below for details and a list of supplements:

The Grave Dancers, starring Dominic Purcell, is about a group of friends that decide to get drunk and dance on the graves, while at the wake of their deceased friend, until they realize that dancing on graves is a grave mistake.  Soon their lives are invaded by a ghastly trio of ghost bent on making their lives hell.

Wicked Little Things: Unrated Director’s Cut stars Lori Heuring as a recently widowed mother of two named Karen Tunny. Karen decides to move the family to a remote mountain home, that she inherited from the family of her late husband.  She is, however, unaware of the horrific tragedy that took place nearby that caused many children to be buried alive in an old mine.

Borderland: Unrated Director’s Cut, based on true events, is a tale of murder, ritual, and human sacrifice.  On the eve of their graduation from college three Texas University students travel to a Mexican border town to celebrate. They never expected to come face-to-face with an ancient cult determined to use them as blood-sacrifices.

Crazy Eights tells the story of six former friends that are brought together at the funeral of a childhood friend.  During their mourning they discover a map to a time capsule that had been forgotten about a long time ago.  At the request of the dearly departed they decide to follow the map only to  reawaken their repressed childhood traumas.  The twisting journey through their abandoned childhood home  reveals horrific secrets and a  mysterious dead girl who will lead them all to their strange fates.

The Broken tells the tale of a successful radiologist who spirals out of control when she sees her Doppelgänger driving down a London street.  As she attempts to uncover the identity of this mysterious stranger she stumbles into a horrifying mystery that involves everyone she loves and trusts. With no family or friends to turn to, she must unravel the mystery alone.

The Graves comes from the wickedly creative genius behind the legendary comics Evil Ernie and Lady Death.  Megan and Abby Graves are sisters spending the weekend together when they become lost in a remote part of the Arizona desert.  Eventually they make their way to Skull City Mine, a dilapidated and abandoned mine town.  But, as with every great horror story, they soon learn Skull City is not only filled to the brim with insane residents, there’s also no way out.  The sisters are now forced to confront the gruesome residents in an all-out battle for survival against unspeakable horrors.

Zombies of Mass Destruction is a zomcom that takes place in Port Gamble, Washington; A conservative island community is under attack by zombies!  A small group of survivors led by Frida, suspected of being an Iraqi terrorist, and Tom, a gay businessman, attempt to slaughter the undead in an attempt to take their island back.
