Director Gore Verbinski has come up with his first animated movie Rango. Verbinski has come up with the trilogy of ‘The Pirates of the Caribbean’ before but he has commenced the task of executing this animated movie extremely well. ‘Rango’ is the story of a pet chameleon which is set on a journey of self realization and existentialism.
The cinematic animation of the movie is done so well that it stands at par with Pixer’s ‘Ratatouille’. The production of the movie is done under the joint venture of Nickelodeon movies, Verbinski Production Company Blind Wink and producer Graham King’s Company GK Films.
‘Rango’ is a pet chameleon which accidentally sets out of his cage due to the bump on the road. He is moved out of his modern lifestyle and ends up in a western desert called dirt. Coming from a modern surrounding, he treats himself as self acclaimed hero and declares himself a sheriff. But the people in Dirt look down on the sheriffs and it is here that his struggle starts. It is a story of existentialism and the search of one owns self.
There are many characters in movie which seem to be adapted from various western fictions. The voice over of the artists is done by Hollywood leading stars who have added new colors by lending their voices to these animated characters. The voice of Rango, the chameleon has been dubbed by Johny Depp. The touch of the movie is very different and unique. The artists were asked to wear the costumes of the animated characters to bring the feel in their voices. The movie is soon going to hit the theatres and is eagerly awaited.
cant wait to see this movie.
