Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale Confirmed Cast of Total Recall Remake

If we take a look at the progress of the Total Recall remake by Columbia Pictures, the casting process has been really slow. Collin Farrell was the first one to be confirmed for the leading role, followed by Bokeem Woodbine, Bryan Cranston and Ethan Hawke. Regarding the roles these actors will be playing in the film, it is all still a bit unclear, nonetheless we have managed to get the names of a few more actors who will be a part of the cast and even their roles in the remake.

Bill Nighy has been reported to have been included as a part of the movie, taking on the role of Quatto, the leader of the resistance. Kuato was the original character in the 1990s version of the film and Marshall Bell was the actor who portrayed the character. The remake will probably be following a similar concept as the original movie, i.e. the actual resistance leader was a tiny mutant living inside this character. The remake will probably be portraying the resistance leader on a much meatier role than how Bell had portrayed him.

Rumors are that actresses Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale have been offered the roles of Melina and Lori, therefore they would also be onboard big-budget production as well. Jessica Biel takes on the role which was originally played by Rachel Ticotin and Kate Beckinsale would be portraying the character who was played by Sharon Stone in the original film.

This remake of ‘Total Recall’ hits theatres this August.
