The Crow Makes its Way on Blu-ray

It has finally been confirmed by Lionsgate that the 1994 action film ‘The Crow’ is now going to be released on Blu-ray. Along with confirming that 18th October is the release date when this Blu-ray release will hit the shelves and they also mentioned a SRP $19.99 as the price at which this Blu-ray would be available.

This action film from the 90s era was inspired from and based upon ‘The Crow’ comic book series created by James O’Barr. Apart from being quite a stunning portrayal of the comic books, this film has also become unforgettable due to the death of Brandon Lee (Brue Lee’s son), who was the star of the film. Brandon was accidentally killed during the production of the film when dummy bullet from a prop firearm got lodged into his spine, mortally injuring him. The work on the film still continued in spite of this tragic incident and eventually the film was successful completed. Right from the moment the film was released it prove to be a huge success, receiving favorable, positive reviews and becoming a cult class among a large number of cult followers. Two years later a sequel to the film, ‘The Crow: City of Angels’ was released as well.
