The film as adaptation of ‘The Greatest Gift’, a short story written by Philip Van Doren Stern and has been directed Frank Capra. The film revolves around George Bailey played by James Stewart who decides to commit suicide on Christmas Eve. That is when Clarence Odbody played by Henry Travers, intervenes, showing George how the lives of different people have been touched by him.

The Blu-ray package of the film that will be released on the 1stof November will also be decorated with a bell Christmas ornament.
