It’s A Wonderful Life Blu-ray releasing on November 1

If we talk about some of the most popular classic movies of all time, It’s A Wonderful Life definitely needs to be mentioned. There is almost a trend of classic Blu-ray releases and the great news is that this 1946 comedy drama is finally coming to Blu-ray as well.

The film as adaptation of ‘The Greatest Gift’, a short story written by Philip Van Doren Stern and has been directed Frank Capra. It cannot be doubted that movies as wonderful as this can rarely be found these days. Thus not only the film but the directorial job by Frank Capra and the screenplay of the film that was provided by Frances Goodrich, are certainly worth appreciating and praising.

It’s A Wonderful Life can indeed be categorized as a Christmastime film but can still be enjoyed no matter when it is watched. The film revolves around George Bailey played by James Stewart who decides to commit suicide on Christmas Eve. That is when Clarence Odbody played by Henry Travers, intervenes, showing George how the lives of different people have been touched by him.

It’s A Wonderful Life is an amazing family film and the fact that it is arriving on Blu-ray, with some exciting features, will make it even more enjoyable. Firstly, the film is presented in HD picture quality. The Blu-ray version of the film also includes the original theatrical trailer l, and ‘Making Of It’s a Wonderful Life’ documentary featurette. The Blu-ray package of the film that will be released on the 1stof November will also be decorated with a bell Christmas ornament.
