Chris Cooper and Stanley Tucci Get Cast in Rober Redford’s The Company You Keep

We all know of Robert Redford’s capabilities as a director and just about every Hollywood actor would consider be fortunate enough to be working in his movies. As of recently, the actor/director has been busy in directing his latest film The Company You Keep, in which he will be staring as well. Redford will be playing a rogue militant activist, whose true identity is uncovered by Shia LaBeouf’s character, a young persistent reporter.

As of now, recent news regarding the making of The Company You Keep is that Robert Redford has recruited Chris Cooper and Stanley Tucci, to fill the spots of two important supporting roles.

American Beauty, Amigo, Jarhead, Me, Myself & Irene, Pharoah’s Army, Remember Me and The Patriot, are some of the movies Chris Cooper has stared in, in the past, in the role of an army soldier. As for The Company You Keep, it has not yet confirmed whether Cooper’s role will be related to the military in anyway. Nonetheless, assumptions are that Cooper’s character might have something to do with the military.

Similarly, in moves like Captain America: The First Avenger, Monkey Shines, The Core, the role that Stanley Tucci has become known for playing, is that of the doctor. Again it cannot really be speculated whether Tucci will be playing the role of a doctor in this film as well.

One thing that is for certain is that the two actors have been officially added to the cast and soon enough, the nature of their roles might also get revealed.
