Kevin Costner No Longer a Part of Django Unchained

Last we had heard Kevin Costner had been included as a part of the upcoming film Django Unchained. Shocking news that recently spread like wildfire, is that the actor has been dropped out of the role and will no longer be a part of the film. Most actors would definitely consider them fortunate enough to be a part of a Quentin Tarantino film but the reason Kevin Costner dropped out is still unknown and we cannot wonder why.

The character that Kevin Costner was all set to play was that of Ace Woody. Ace not only assists plantation owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) in running slave fights but also trains the slaves for the fights as well.

As of now, the role is completely available and no one has filled in yet. Nonetheless there is no doubt that quite a lot of actors will be looking forward to get a chance to be a part of Tarantino’s film. The confirmed cast of the film includes Jamie Foxx, Christopher Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson and recently Gerald McRaney also joined aboard.

Fans of Kevin Costner had certainly been expecting to see their favorite actor in the role but unfortunately the actor went against their expectations, unexpectedly dropping the role. As of now, we do not really know what to expect or who will be filling in the role that KC was previously going to play. All we can do is wait and expect that a much more popular actor picks up where Kevin Costner left off.
