In January next year the Miramax catalog title Serendipity will be brought to Blu-ray by Lionsgate Home Entertainment. John Cusack (Say Anything) and Kate Beckinsale (Pearl Harbor) star in this romantic comedy film as two individuals who fall in love and decide to put their potential future together to the test.

One evening Jonathan (Cusack) and Sara (Beckinsale) are out shopping in New York for the holidays in search of a gift for their respective significant others. This is when they meet for the very first time and sparks immediately fly. Both Jonathan and Sara want to give their budding relationship a chance but eventually Sara makes the decision to leave their love to fate, in hopes that if they will find each other again, if it was all meant to be. Years later, Jonathan and Sara cannot help but wonder what would have happened had they pursued their relationship, even though they are now engaged to other people.

While the technical specifications for the Blu-ray have not yet been announced by Lionsgate, nonetheless variety of bonus materials will be features in the disc, which include:

This film is a must watch for the avid romantics and just about anyone who is fond of watching romantic films. Not only is the film itself quite wonderful but also has a marvelous soundtrack as well. It is expected that the Serendipity Blu-ray will be released on the 3rd of January, 2012.
