Metal Evolution Limited Edition DVD SteelBook releasing in Canada

In Canada on June 12, 2012, Alliance Films and Banger Films are releasing Metal Evolution in Limited Edition DVD SteelBook.

It is an 11, 1- hour episode series that is based on the history of heavy metal an hard rock. It goes over what’s called the “Heavy Metal Family Tree” which is a 26 sub-genre genealogical chart that details the extensive and complex lineage of heavy metal – from Early Metal, Shock Rock and Thrash to Progressive Metal, Grunge and Nu Metal.

Originally broadcast on VH1 Classic (USA) and Much More Music (Canada), the series features interviews with more than 300 of the genre’s most revered artists, producers and experts. Metal Evolution is everything you ever wanted to know about metal. And then some.
