Nominees for 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards announced

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominees for next year’s Golden Globe Awards this morning, a list that honors films such as Django Unchained and Lincoln with nominations aplenty. The Golden Globes are traditionally labeled as a crystal ball for which films and filmmakers may possibly serve as Academy Award candidates come time. The Golden Globe nominees are as follows:

So, do you think the rightful nominees were chosen? Who do you think was snubbed? I personally think Castle and Dexter should’ve been nominated in the television categories as well as Fringe to celebrate its final season on the air. For films, I definitely think that ParaNorman was snubbed in the animated film category while it would’ve been nice to see Peter Hedges and Glen Hansard receive some acknowledgement for their work on The Odd Life of Timothy Green. I’m also surprised that End of Watch received no recognition. Let’s hear your opinion!
