Sharlto Copley – he could play the scrawny geek and through mo cap could easily play Toxie. He has proven in all of his roles he can play both comedic and dramatic/unstable characters. I’m sure he wouldn’t be opposed to putting on a hell of a lot of prosthetics and make up to portray the role with out CGI
Bradley Cooper- So toxie could be nominated for an oscar of course!
Having someone the audience recognizes play Melvin I think takes away from the “this is some nerd we’d never give any attention besides ridicule” vibe of the original. So my vote is some random guy off the street.
mickey rourke because he he played a few different bad guy roles in his career so i think he could pull it off
brad pitt because he is suave and brooding.
Chris Pine …can play the nerd and the hero at the same time!
Liam Neeson as he is hard and intelligient
Chris Evans, obviously! It would be the perfect alternate role to his Captain America. And we know he can play a small guy and a superhero.
Scott Adkins
He would open a serious can of whoop-ass in the role!
Joseph Gordon-Levitt – he could pull it off with ease, he’s made for the role!
Michael Berryman
Great versatile actor , Would be a perfect fit for a remake due to his look , Could easily imagine him playing the part of the toxic avenger
Jake Gyllenhaal he can do both the geek look and the buffed up look perfectly!
Norman Reedus (from the Walking Dead TV series.) Because he’s a great actor, and a proven talent! And he would bring something new and fresh (in a toxic kind of way) as The Toxic Avenger! 🙂
Edward Norton because you know he can do any role he puts his mind to.
I’d love to see Mackenzie Crook (Gareth Keenan from the British Office series) play him. Because he looks and acts hilarious to me. I’d also have him play Spider-Man if I had my way too… I’d want Spider-Man to be more twisted and freaky like Toxic Avenger if it was up to me!
liam neeson because he’s a fab actor x
Miles Teller as Melvin Ferd/Junko, Derek Mears as Toxie himself and Ted Williams as Toxie’s voice.
Miles would be a great choice to play an updated geeky mop boy, Derek has Toxie’s height and physique down pat and Ted Williams has a deep enough voice to give Toxie that smooth, easy to the ears baritone voice that everyone loved in the original and Citizen Toxie.
Jason Momoa… He’s got the height and build and an oddly shaped face any make-up artist could could easily toxify! Though he will have to have a haircut.
Silvester Stallone. He wouldn’t need makeup
eric bana – he is THE man
Arnold Schwarzenegger
No Say these lines in his accent
The Toxic Avenger: You fat slob. Let’s see if you’ve got any guts.
[Toxie then punches the mayor in the stomach and rips out his guts]
The Toxic Avenger: Officer O’Clancy, take care of this toxic waste.
Ryan Gosling
DJ Qualls as Melvin pre transformation and Sid Haig doing the voice of Toxie!
Chiwetel Ejiofor he is an amazingly talented actor
Michael Keaton, he is a chameleon as an actor.
Christian Bale
Tim Curry, need i say why?
Michael Fassenbender, he’s a great actor.
Dwayne The Rock Johnson
Good charisma and large stature
