THE REVENANT is directed by Oscar winner Alejandro González Iñárritu, who also directed such films as BIRDMAN OR (THE UNEXPECTED VIRTUE OF IGNORANCE) and BABEL. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy as two frontiersman who are left for dead in the wilderness and seek revenge on their betrayers. The movie looks brutal and the trailer does not hold anything back at all.
