DEADPOOL hires JOHN WICK director, David Leitch

In the past several weeks, DEADPOOL 2 has been going through some…changes. The director of the first film, Tim Miller, left due to “creative differences” with actor Ryan Reynolds and that isn’t the best news to hear from the new franchise. Rumor has it that Reynolds wanted to make the sequel in the same style and fashion as the first film and Miller had other ideas. It has now been reported that David Leitch, co-director of the action flick JOHN WICK, has been hired to helm the project.

Honestly, it is sad to see the Tim Miller not involved with the second film but Leitch did an awesome job with JOHN WICK and that feel fits exactly with the tone of the film and character. The film is slated for a 2018 release and that feels like plenty of time to bring it all together.

DEADPOOL 2 hits theaters on March 2nd, 2018!
