Continuing my coverage of the San Diego Comic-Con exhibit floor I’ll next be looking at some of the companies bringing larger scale Statue and Figure pieces to Comic-Con. I usually wrap these types of booths into my overall collectibles coverage and I likely should do that here but that article is getting long, even for my standards, so for now bear with me while I just focus on this aspect of the collectibles space. I also have some pictures of the DC, Marvel, and Star Wars areas which had costumes on display!
So for now let’s look at a few companies that focus on Figures and Statues and be sure to check out my other coverage which I have posted and be on the lookout for my upcoming coverage including Artists and Art Galleries and Collectibles.
Iron Studios

Iron Studios, a Brazilian company specializes, in the manufacture of collectible statues from ¼ to 1/10 scale and works with property licenses from Disney, Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and Star Wars. With Sideshow no longer attending Comic-Con they have started to fill the void of having large scale highly detailed statues at the center of the show floor and they have the portfolio to do it. However if their products look familiar it likely is because Sideshow has acted as a distributor for them. Some call outs this year included Deadpool & Wolverine, TMNT, Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, and Vader figures.
