Finishing up my coverage of the San Diego Comic-Con exhibit floor I’ll be looking at some of the many collectibles companies from the floor. As I mentioned earlier in my Figures and Statues article some of the companies here can fit in there and some of the companies here can fit in there but I had to draw a cut-off that in my mind seemed fair. The collectible figure market is still just as strong as ever and the show floor is very vast, so let’s look at a few companies that focus on collectible figures, and toys offering up everything from 3.75” figures with just a few points of articulation to 1/6 and 1/12 scale figures. The breadth of available collectibles for nearly almost every property can’t be overstated as well as a few others. Many of these companies will be familiar with a sprinkling of newer companies.
Feel free to take a look at some of my other Comic-Con coverage including Collectibles, Hasbro, Toys, Art and Artists, Offsites and After Hour Events.
Finally, while I encourage you to check out every company I covered since there are so many I’ve included a list of companies covered in this article; a quick ctrl+f will shoot you over to the relevant company:
Mezco Toyz, Super 7, Jada Toys, Threezero, Underverse, NECA, Enesco, Hallmark: For all Fankind, Yolopart, DKE Toys, Metalsouls, Bandai, Cryptozoic Entertainment, Rock Lover Jewlery, Factory Entertainment, Just Play Doorables
Mezco Toyz
https://www.mezcotoyz.com/
Mezco Toyz, based in Long Island City, makes action figures and other collectibles based on original and licensed properties. Mezco Toyz has long been a favorite company of mine and I continue to enjoy their offerings. While they still have lots of IPs they work on they have in recent years shifted their offerings to their own Rumble Society IP with many original figures being produced in their One:12 collective line. They also had a good display of their other figure lines outside of the One:12 Collective including 5 Points, Living Dead Dolls, Mez-itz, and Mezco Designer Series lines. For SDCC 2024 some standouts included their Doc Nocturnal, Silent Screamers Nosferatu, Power Ranges, and Fantastic Four.
Super7
https://super7.com/
Similar to other companies Super7 excels at offering figures in a number of scales from different properties like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Thundercats, G.I. Joe and more. They range from their ReAction line, Ultimates line, and Designer Toys. Some standout from SDCC included a ReAction Unicron, D&D, and ODB Figures, a TMNT Van, and Super Cyborg Voltron.
Jada Toys
https://jadanextlevel.com/
While Jada Toys was a company that for many years focused only on die cast metal cars and metal figures the company has expanded into the collectible figures area. They continue their push on their series a series of 6.5” figures for Street Fighter II as well as MegaMan. In their cars line they offer a range of scales from 1/64, 1/32, and 1/24. At SDCC they were showing off a slew of cars including a Ghostbusters X Transformers, Batman, and Wednesday car. Their Violent Ken and Ryu were also standouts.
Threezero
www.threezerohk.com
Founded by Kim Fung Wong, one of the original producers of the Hong Kong designer figure style, the company is recognized by their iconic gasmask logo (designed by Michael Lau) and known for their much iteration of street-smart vinyl figures. They offer a range of officially licensed figures from Transformers, Walking Dead, Power Rangers, Stranger Things, Gundam, Ultraman, Marvel, Voltron, Evangelion, and Chainsaw Man. Their MDLX line of Transformers continues offer some of the most highly detailed robot forms I’ve seen. Check it out below.
Underverse
https://underverse.com/
Underverse takes Ashley Wood’s design driven style and produces his own IP products of low run figures as well as animation, video-games, publishing, and couture fashion are the areas of focus.
NECA
https://necaonline.com/
When you discuss collectible figures NECA needs to be part of that conversation. The company has been around for close to 30 years and is still at the height of popularity with a full range of collectible action figures and prop replicas for a variety of licensed properties. They are also the parent company to a few well known names including Wizkids, Kidrobot, and Enesco, who also recently started exhibiting at Comic-Con. Standouts this year includes Beetljuice figures, Toony Terrors, Dungeons & Dragons, an impressive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Foot Clan display, Sesame Street, Dinosaurs, Pee-Wee Herman, and Alf.
Enesco
http://www.enesco.com/
Enesco’s was again back at Comic-Con and set-up right next to NECA. Dealing in licensed properties from DC, Marvel, Harry Potter, Elvira and many more brands Enesco specializes in the sale and distribution of giftware with their products are mostly found in specialty card and gift retailers, home décor boutiques, mass-market chains, and online retailers. Their appeal however certainly fits well with the vibe at SDCC At the show they had a nice display of Disney and Pixar statues and cups as well as a few Elvira products mixed in. Stand outs include a set of DC Couture de Force Princesses, a Minnie Mouse Ceramic Bank, a Clear Rainbow Micky Mouse, as well as Harry Potter, Beetlejuice, and Nightmare Before Christmas statues.
Hallmark: For All Fankind
https://www.hallmark.com/
Hallmark always has an array of exclusives they share between New York Comic-Con and San Diego Comic-Con. Their booth always shows off a wide array of ornaments, gifts, cards, drink ware, gifts, itty bittys, and more. This year they did split their booth exclusives up as being in the Lucasefilm Pavillion they were finally only focused on Star Wars Figures while their other booth had their other exclusives. The Sand People Vintage Ornament was an event exclusive. Another continued tradition from them was getting their daily Star Wars pins though I do need to get the Bo-Katan pin to complete my collection.
Yolopark
https://shop.yolopark.com/
Yolopark, a Hong Kong based company, mainly offers model kits in the Transformers line in a wide range of scales. The accuracy between their G1 and Rise of the Beasts line made this one of the most unassuming booths at the show.

Sharing a booth was DKE Toys along with Creature Bazaar and former Mondo Creative Director and CEO Justin Ishmael

MetalSouls
https://www.metalsouls.com/
Founded in 1999 Metalsouls creatures unique and beautiful metal sculptures based on a diverse range of popular pop culture properties. Each piece is low run and given the individualized work involved no two are exactly alike. Metalsouls had a bit of everything and their price points were not that outrageous. Though I would have like to see a bit of a longer point at the end the X-Wing was a very beautifully crafted piece that I would like to add to my collection.
Bandai Namco Collectibles
https://www.bandai.com/
Bandai is a leading distributor of toys, collectibles, novelty and hobby products. Their extensive catalog is highlighted by a diverse range of high quality, officially licensed products from leading brands and manufacturers from Japan, Hong Kong and the U.S. including Tamagotchi, DragonBall, Vital Hero, Anime Heroes, Bandai Hobby, Gundam, & Studio Ghibli. Bluefin is also the official North American consumer products and retail development partner for Studio Ghibli. At their booths you will see a wide swath of products from Gundam, Godzilla, Tamogatchi, and almost all ranges of anime one could think of. At Comic-Con I mainly just focused my attention on their Godzilla display case which really only represented a fraction of their footprint.
Cryptozoic Entertainment
https://www.cryptozoic.com/
Cryptozoic Entertainment, Inc. is a premier developer and publisher of original and licensed board games, card games, comics, trading cards, and collectibles. Their figures include DC Lil Bombshells, Cyptkins figures, ppolyresin statues, and more. At Comic-Con they took a much smaller footprint. For SDCC they had a Golden Goddess Batgirl exclusive statue.
