A bit of a combination article as I’ll be combining my Getting Hot article, where I cover companied that have the potential to make it big along with my general round-up of the show floor where I freely roam the floor looking to see if anything catches my eye.
Two companies that continue to stand out remain– P.M.I. LTD and Super Impulse. Unfortunately while P.M.I. did allow me into their booth there was sadly no photos allowed in their booth. So while they do have some exciting new licensees and products across their product lines including Stumble Guys, Minecraft, Smashlings, Fuggler, and Pudgy Penguins I’ll have to limit my coverage to that for now. Super Impulse on the other hand had a host of new products which I’ll be covering below.
Free roaming the aisles, even if most are closed off with huge walls, still occasionally yields some interesting and fun results. Super Impulse offers a range of products most notably the World’s Smallest which feature miniature versions of iconic toys like Super Soaker, Etch-A-Sketch, Rubik’s Cube, Sorry, Battleship, Cornhole, Beer Pong and more! Additionally, their Micro Figures line features very tiny figures in packaging of many iconic brands including Transformers, Dungeons & Dragons, Masters of the Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Monster High, South Park, Star Trek, and even Wednesday. Rounding out their line-up of products are Poptaters a line of smaller versions of the classic Mr. Potato Head with licensed crossovers and with interchangeable pieces!

































New reveals for Toy Fair were a Peanuts license including Snoopy Sno-cone Machine, games for Perfection, Catan, and Exploding Kittens, Bop-It, Gumby, and Furby to name a few.





















Nemesis Now

Nemesis now offers a wide range of giftware including drinkware, bookends, snow globes, busts, ornaments, journals, and wall mounts in a host of hot properties like The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Terminator, Mortal Kombat and more. While not on display Nemesis Now did just launch a Transfomers collaboration. Products for metal bands like Iron Maiden, AC/DC, and Metallica are also represented. Finally, Nemesis Now has their own line of Cult Cuties an line of creatures with an occult theme.










































Paladone

A UK wholesale gifts supply company with licences in Harry Potter, Batman, Call of Duty, Assassin’s Creed, and Nintendo. Paladone offers items for more casual collectors such as mirrors, lights, mugs, thermoses, keychains, and other knick knacks. Some of their main products focus on lights for almost every property with the stand out item being their X-Wing and Bat-wing desk light along with neon desk lights.

The company works with a variety of metals and materials and puts care into their attention to detail, quality, and packaging.

























































Lionel Trains

Lionel, celebrating it’s 125th anniversary, is a designer and importer of model trains and railroads. Their line of products which include the LCS®, iCab, Battle Trains®, and Lionel Tracks remain at the forefront of technology. They also have plenty of partnerships including NASCAR, Warner Bros., Crayola, Coca-Cola, John Deere to name a few. Their focus has been to make sure they are a major player in any holiday plans.
Since I covered them at New York Comic Con I decided to head over to their booth to get a few photos of upcoming releases. Thomas the Tank Engine, Frozen, and Harry Potter trains were highlights.












Metal Earth by Fascinations

Metal Earth models by Fascinations are mini metal model kits that you pop out of metal sheets. With a ton of licenses including Transformers, Lord of the Rings, Marvel, Harry Potter, Disney, Star Wars, and more there is likely a model kit for anyone. I’ve always enjoyed seeing their products on display. Special call out for the Ghostbuster Ecto-1, 1989 Batmobile, or a Game of Thrones Dragon.















Robotime

Their figures are also different from other building block in that their hands turn in all directions and the head and torso can tilt. Their themes are a bit more boys oriented with army, aviation, racing, construction, and space themes. Specifically I liked their fighter jets and scale projectile firing M27-S.
