  1. Donnie Darko (4K UHD Limited Edition) (Arrow Video) [UK]

Received my copy from Zavvi today. No HDR sticker on the cover, but it soon occurred to me that this most likely is a result of the original packaging being opened and the disc replaced. So, possibly a way of telling whether you have a defective copy without having to open it and check the disc...
  2. 4K-UK Crash (1996) (4K UHD Limited Edition) (Arrow Video) [UK]

Just ordered this from The Entertainment Store on ebay. Their description is: Crash Limited Edition (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray) James Spader, Holly Hunter I know that with this set its 4K or blu-ray, but, in my eyes at least, this description seems to indicate that both are included. Just...
  3. Dune (1984) (4K+2D Blu-ray Ultimate Edition) (Koch Films Shop Exclusive) [Germany]

I think the lack of English subtitles will be a deal breaker for many. There are scenes such as the meeting between the Emperor and the Guild Navigator that require them.
  4. True Romance (4K+2D Blu-ray SteelBook) (Zavvi Exclusive) (Arrow Video) [UK]

Just ordered a new copy of the deluxe edition off ebay for £50, with free delivery. I can live with that price as its only £10 more than Zavvi's asking price. Honestly! Some of the 'Buy It Now' prices are eye watering. Most expensive at the moment is some clown asking £149.99.
  5. Dune (1984) (4K UHD Limited Edition) (Arrow Video) [UK]

I'm surprised by the number of extras on the 4k disc. I thought the idea behind 4k discs was to max out the bit rate to achieve the highest possible picture quality. I'm new to 4k so I may be over simplyfying things. Is putting a bunch of extras onto the disc now a thing? I remember when 4k...
  6. Some Kind of Wonderful (Blu-ray SteelBook) [UK]

My favourite Hughes movie, after Breakfast Club, but I'll also be waiting for a price drop. £12.99 maybe.
  7. Doctor Who - Series 8 (Blu-ray SteelBook) [UK]

My copy also arrived today. I like it but its just not a patch on the earlier steels. 22 DW steels? That has to be close to nearly all of them.
  8. Speed (4K+2D Blu-ray SteelBook) (Zavvi Exclusive) [UK]

Agreed. Though I wouldn't mind a steelbook with this image:
  9. Cloud Atlas (Blu-ray SteelBook) (Sci-fi Destination Series #5) (Zavvi Exclusive) [UK]

Yes. Its fantastic. Loved the book and loved the movie.
  10. Doctor Who: 50th Anniversary Specials (Blu-ray SteelBook) [UK]

Just picked one up off ebay for £50. Like many, I missed the boat on this one not realising it would sell out so fast. I hate to succumb to scalper prices but, from what I've seen, the price on these looks to go North pretty fast.
  11. Oblivion (4K+2D Blu-ray SteelBook) (Zavvi Exclusive) [UK]

Disappointing about the finish. This is yet another release that proves that the majority of steelbooks simply aren't collectable anyone. Remember when full gloss steelbooks with embossing/debossing were a regular thing. Now it seems cheap nasty finishes are the thing.
  12. It's a Wonderful Life (4K+2D Blu-ray SteelBook) [UK]

Try picking up the UK release from 2010. It has the colourised version included. More of a curiosity than anything but still nice to have nevertheless. Really like the steelbook. Could have done without the printing error on the blu ray though.
  13. When Marnie Was There (Blu-ray SteelBook) [UK]

Just ordered, along with My Neighbours the Yamadas , from Amazon at £20 each. Expensive i know, but with Zavvi stock sold out (for whatever reason) I wasn't going to risk it, especially as I own every other Ghibli steelbook.
  14. A Fistful Of Dynamite (Blu-ray Limited Edition) (Eureka - Masters of Cinema) [UK]

Getting nearer to release date. Will definitely be picking this up. Just curious about something. Why does the Amazon listing call it an Amazon limited edition, when it's clearly available from other retailers?
  15. In Bruges (Blu-ray Limited Edition) (Second Sight) [UK]

Complete blind buy for me, never having seen the movie, but I've heard such good things about it. Picked up a copy, in my local HMV, for £22.99. It's nice to be able to check it, in hand, before purchase. Worth paying the extra £1 IMHO. Lovely package, though I must admit it would have been...
