I must admit, as stylish and well made as it was, I didn't really know what the hell was going on exactly, will definitely have to watch again. Let me know when you've seen it.
Danny Leigh on Film 2015 this week said that it's imperative that you do not try and solve the crime, as that will just confuse the matter and drive you bat s**t crazy haha. It certainly sounds like PTA's most incoherent work so far, but it works apparently. I think we are meant to see the movie through the eyes of Doc, who is constantly stoned, thus making things very confusing?
I've been reading about it quite a bit, it's been very divisive to say the least! haha. If you see this as an experiment, like you say, the action unfolds to us as through the eyes of Doc, then it is an incredibly brave thing for PTA to have done, and in that respect it definitely works.
