p.s. As an aside, it's interesting that the American films in the summer war movie wave: Longest Day, Patton, received full restorations, whilst the British ones: Battle of Britain and A Bridge Too Far received very lacklustre transfers - then again, I read some time ago on an American website that ABTF was a film of 'minority interest' Hey ho . . .
