£5 off eBay purchases - did it work?

Did anyone try and use the £5 off any purchase on eBay the other day?

I did and it showed as valid at the time and I paid just 99p!

However, checking on Paypal it says I paid £5.99 and eBay also confirms that...

Anyone have a similar issue?....

I used the voucher, email from Paypal shows £5 off the total. Can't check Paypal itself at the moment though as I can't get in

Just checked and both my eBay receipt and email from Paypal show I paid 99p but today Paypal statement says £5.99...

Check the details of the transaction. Front page shows full amount, £6 in my case but when I go into details it shows £5 voucher used.

If you click on 'Details' for that particular transaction it should show you that eBay paid £5 into your Paypal account, which basically goes towards that purchase... you then obviously paid the remaining balance. I understand your confusion though, because from the Paypal 'Overview' page it looks like you paid the full amount out of your own wallet... it's not until you actually check the details of the transaction that you see how the coupon worked.

Ok will check Paypal online - the iPhone app says I paid it all

Yeah, that's what threw me mate. Just log into your PayPal on the normal website and look at the transaction details and it will show you.

I bought 2 Blu's from the US so my coupon showed as $7.98 rather than £5

certainly is confusing, but yes, coupon shows on the details section on the full website...
