This is great news, I like that artwork and can't help but notice the Mondo symbol printed at the top of the spine in that mock up with the numbers 000 printed below it, does this mean we might get some more Mondo collaborations as a series?? If so there is so much potential in what could be released in conjunction with them, cudos Future Shop, I take my hat off to you!! And is that housed in a clear plastic slipcover in the mock up?? Damn, so many possible hints...

It's a nice collaboration, but not really a fan of the movie. I still regret sitting in the theatre when this came out. This release will save me money!

Sweet I am gonna get this. But since I have never watched the movie so question to you guys, was this really worth the hype? I really thought it will be some marvel or Disney movie.

It all depends upon your taste in movies. If you liked Only God Forgives then you will definitely like this earlier collaboration. If you are into action or thriller films, then this is not for you. If I had to label this movie, I would call it a drama infused with elements of noir. Although not strictly filmnoir, there are similarities. This film does have striking visuals and most of the acting is great.
I am an owner of of the HMV steelbook (I found it on eBay a couple of months ago for under £20, J-Card included!) and find the steelbook design boring except for the back cover, I really don't like the Plain Archive and Novamedia joint effort but this I have to say really is the best edition out there. It really does capture the stiking colours in the film.
Hope this helps decide whether or not to get it. But as I say, if you can spare the money, it is better to buy it, watch it, don't like it then sell it than to not bother and eventually watch and decide it is one of the best films you've seen! (If that last bit made sense...)
