Looks awesome, Future Shop has released both of the most sought after Drive collectibles (the original scorpion slipcover and now this).
I thought the film was just okay, but I sure as hell love this Steelbook.

For those who keep their SteelBooks sealed, have fun with your OCD. This release has the thinnest, weakest shrink wrap ever on it. Every copy at my store had tears in the plastic wrap.

And my store only received four copies.

Oh dear that's not good news. Since this is region A this was gonna be the only sealed steel in my entire collection [emoji20]

This needed extra thick wrap to stop the slip getting any marks, the slip needs to be OCD perfect. And that before getting to the steel.

i can confirm the very thin shrink wrap..lots of tears on the edges..one of my copies even had spine slash on the protective plastic shell..

Yeah, ...i'm doing a photo shoot in a bit. But I hope it doesn't happen to too many of them. Quality control was "Wreck it Ralph"'s downfall as steelbook of the year. Could really hurt the potential on this.

@Nyrvana Yeaaa, it's such a shame. I didn't notice it until I opened mine too, so I guess I'll have to live with the scratch. It's on the worst spot for a scratch too imo, the spine, the first part everyone sees when it's on your shelf. Atleast my shelves.

I get a spine slash I will cry! As FS's premier release that is beyond unacceptable, these should have been given very special treatment and handled with extreme care.

Now I'm getting scared... It shouldn't be a lot to ask for, but I hope I will receive mine in mint condition. Otherwise I can see myself throwing it out of window or something, rampage! Not like it would make things any better lol.

I picked up a copy at FS today and I was told that the steelbook is non-refundable/non-returnable by an employee at the cash. Can only exchange with another copy if it is defective. This is news to me.
Is it 'cause it's Mondo exclusive?

I haven't opened my copy but I just noticed a streak of scratches on both the top and bottom part of inside front cover (top looks worse).
