Buffalo is not bad, most brands out there either use Samsung or Hitachi drives other than of course seagate and HP which use their own.

I figured it was a cheap generic , so long as the thing doesnt come apart you should be fine ... I mean GB's is GB's .. crazy cheap tho ...

Nah, Buffalo may not be mainstream, but they are definitely not cheap there is no generic HDD makers there is always some company making HDDs for other companies to sell.

maybe worth picking it up to back all my ps3 data, since my ps3 died i have to start all my games again and it suck so with this is good to keep around
