Just another trading tip from your friendly neighborhood ninja Staff/Mod team!

Has a package from a trade not arrived yet? Is it over 4 weeks or a sufficient amount of time?

Here are some quick tips on how to get more information.

  1. Contact your trading partner - can they provide you more information about the package?
  2. Use the customs number or label number, if provided, in the postal service of the country of origin. Try and verify when it left that country.
  3. Use the customs number or tracking number with your own postal service website.
  4. Try & determine if the item is held in customs or is awaiting payment of taxes.
  5. Have the sender begin an investigation with their postal service to the whereabouts of the package.
  6. Contact a trading moderator or staff member for further assistance.

REMEMBER, it's always good practice to get proof of shipping - pictures of packages, postal receipts and other information.

Create an active / pending thread, or just keep a list of transactions in your own trade thread.

Keep an idea on how long it normally takes for packages to arrive to your location, based on where they were shipped and the method of shipping.

Ask for the item to be insured, if possible, against loss or damage.

Always get a tracking number - and then you don't have to worry about most of these items.
