Its a different story in auction demand with the following (despite being blanks inside)

I think it's a better idea. I don't own any 3D equipment, so why should I be forced to pay extra for it.

Exactly what Ricker said... It allows you to buy whichever version of the movie you want instead of just the most expensive version. When I bought the Lion King empty case I got the BD/DVD combo in the DVD case so I could give my parents the DVD and it wouldn't look weird with the rest of their DVDs.

If you remember well, the problem with this release was that Future Shop wasn't able to get the disc inside the steel and they didn't want to loose the opportunity, so they offered the steel when you purchased the movie.
It wasn't a pre-order thing.

The same with games, 90% of the time (Few exception such as AC), you get the steel when you pre-order/buy the game on release day, NOT 1 month before.


The reason of the poll is that I'm wondering if BB get more sales doing that or they're only satisfied with the 7.50$ sale...

Getting an empty case is better than getting nothing at all. I'd rather the actual steel complete, but maybe if they see these things sell they'll put out more exclusives. One can dream....
