i got one like that the other day. behind door number sign. it was on the floor behind a wooden door sign half the size of the box delivered, as we have an open 2 car drive anyone could see it. just sitting there on the step

I have a delivery due today and there is a good chance I wont be here, thought about printing this and leaving it on show for the driver on how NOT to leave an item

Well todays package came and fortunatly I was in, the guy knocked the door and left it outside and went back to his van before any of us got to open the door...good job we were in!

Only UPS leaves our packages in random locations. We had one delivered once to our back yard behind out shed. I found it almost a week after it had been delivered because I finally had wondered where it was and checked the tracking.
Many years ago, we had some serious snow here in England, I ordered some CD's from CDNow in America, after a couple of months they hadn't arrived, I contacted them and they were about to ship replacements, I ventured into my back garden and there they were, the postman had thrown them over the gate into deep snow, the snow had melted and there they were!!!! Fortunately they had been packaged well and survived the weather!!

I swear delivery drivers have competitions between them about leaving them in the most unusual places OR by who can leave a "sorry I missed you" card with the worst possible instructions on.. there's probably a pool that is drawn every month.
