Steelbook Caddy

I recently got the Harry potter steelbook shelf, and it made me wish I had something similar to it to transport my steelbooks (from home to work for scanning)

I whipped this up pretty quickly last night. I noticed the foam was similar to craft foam you get for kids these days to cut shapes or draw on. I've got foam pieces cut, I just have to glue them in place.

Nice and snug with the Steelshell still on.

The gf wanted to decorate it with duct tape, so we threw some Avengers, Batman, Star Wars, and TNMT on the sides.

Started gluing in the base foam before I start adding the sectional foam

That looks really nice. I don't imagine too many people bring their steelbooks to work though but fot those that do this is a perfect tool to carry them in.

Just so you all know, it worked flawlessly bringing it to work today.

I'm thinking about making a smaller case for 2 steels or 1 jumbo. We'll see how that goes.
