It does look like a seriously dumb film. Seriously his character is in China and is able to fly back to rescue his family. What is this, the slowest fire in history. Does it take coffee breaks which he changes planes?

I haven't seen it - but the general vibe seems to be that they missed a major opportunity.
A smart riff (albeit a ripoff) of Die Hard done well, would have been welcome. Sadly, it is has been reported that the script is pretty dumb.
Too bad.

They’re already in Hong Kong-he is and so is his family.

Fair enough. Still sounds a dire film..... Mind you I said that about Die Hard before it came out and boy was I wrong!
