As most of you know, I am a HUGE horror movie fan and with Halloween just around the corner I am thinking of trying something new. 1 horror movie for every day in October. I'm not talking about doing double features so you can have a day off, I'm talking about 1 a day. Anyone else interested in trying this. I know some people prolly don't have the library (or the time) that I do so it might be tough. If you are interested in trying then mark your spot in this thread and come back every day and update it. I can't believe i convinced my bride to do this with me, hahaha. If you miss a day, don't feel bad, keep updating when you watch.

Kinda f**ked up this year. A little late starting thanks to a trip to Florida for Halloween Horror Nights.

I have all 7 seasons... 93 episodes.

Towards the end of the series life they got weak especially the 7th season as it moved to england and just didn't quite feel like the earlier seasons. I have it because I might as well complete the collection.

damn that';s alot of TV. I might be interested in swapping something but not right now because I'd never get to it with the new TV seasons starting. Would be a LONG time before you got it back. Maybe next summer we can work something out. You can have a look at what I have at this site: MY DVD/BLU COLLECTION

wel i just finished watching grace and i gottqa agree with macdaddy on some points. i wouldn't say it was the worse film i've ever seen but it wasn't great by any means.

well i didn't get to watch Grace tonight because i kinda started late and my bride was heading to bed. she told me not to watch it without her, haha. so instead I opted for Gin gwai which is the original asian release of The Eye that Hollywood made with Jessica Alba. This one is much better.

That's good to hear it's better, cuz I didn't like the one with Jessica A.

I watched White Zombie last night, it's a black and white film with Bela Lugosi was made in 1932, I love old horror films.

yes, WZ is a classic indeed. I will be getting to the classics when Halloween is closer. Unfortunately my band has to play on Halloween night otherwise I'd be sittin at home watchin flix all night. this is one of the reasons i decided to do the "movie a night" thing. Anyway, kinda been drinkin tonight and hopin to remember to watch 28 weeks later tomorrow. I DO have the Blu for that one.

I watched 2 Peter Lorre films before bed last night, they were REALLY good... I just don't know what they were called, in both films he played a crazy guy... first one was about a killer hand but obviously it was all in his head.

the second film was about a doctor(Peter) gets obsessed with a soldiers girlfriend... so much that he makes a wax figure out of her and talks to her, then he makes it look like the soldier killed someone, haha.

and watched From Dusk Till Dawn today.

I think the hand one is called the Beast with Five Fingers. not sure on the other but am curious. I need to get a few B&W classics under my belt this week I think.

watched my SD version of 28 days later tonight. wish i had the Blu. everything seems so blurry, haha. i think HD has spoiled us. Awesome flick tho.

So you know, its said to have one the most attrocious PQ ratings (28 days later on Blu) I think their might one out there thats ok from a diff country but its not the USA version thats for sure.

havce you seen it wreck? it can't be worse than the SD version IMO. but perhaps it is.

It's not worse, but it's not any better either. It's becuase it was shot on lesser quality film. There is only so much that they can do to make it look better given the quality of the original. It was very low budget and some of the first stuff that Danny Boyle did.

Tonight's viewing...Peter Jackson's "Bad Taste". haha, what a clissic stupid horror/sci-fi. I had some pretty good laughs checking this one out. I can't believe I've never seen it before. Hard to believe the man whop directed this went on to direct the Rings flicks, lol.

Great flick:) My fav part is when that guy falls off the cliff and lands behind the rock. All you see is blood/ guts flying everywhere from behind the rock. The camera later moves around the rock and you see that the guy has merely fallen on a seagull:hilarious:

ya, hahaha, and a very poorly made mechanical seagul at that, lol. i think my fav. park is when the guy comes throught the side of the house with the chainsaw and proceeds to cop up the upper torso of sone of the aliens, then thebottom half that's left falls to the floor and the guy with the saw runs up and kicks it in the nuts, hahaha. good stuff.

Forgot to update on my movie watching...

Still cranked out my regime of Tales From The Crypt Episodes.. "Only Sin Deep" "The Switch" directed by ARNAWLD SCHWARTZENBURGER, "Collection Completed" and "Cutting Cards"

We also were able to rent and watch "The Hills Run Red"

Pretty interesting
