Yeah I’m not interested in this movie at all but I do like that artwork

Ordered! Nice looking steelbook and I'm actually looking forward to the film  (Big fan of Jared Hess and his quirky sense of humour though and lost countless hours playing the game)

Just saw this with my kids. It was unexpectedly hilarious. Thoroughly entertaining. It's got Jared Hess humour all over it.
Definitely worth seeing.
Hopefully you got to enjoy the film without getting covered in popcorn! Those theatre reactions on social media are absolutely insane!! Us Brits tend to be a bit calmer than our friends across the pond though

As I mentioned elsewhere, Jared Hess's humour is right up my street so I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing this

Napoleon Dynamite this is not, but If you don't take any of it at all seriously (and why would you, this isn't The Brutalist), it's idiocy is quite endearing. Yes, it's garish; yes it's plot and characters aren't elevated to anything beyond (ironically) 2 dimensions and yes, its slacker vibes sadly only hint at Napoleon Dynamites greatness; the absolute nonsense and chaotic madness is pretty damn hilarious.
This won't win over anyone who hates Jack Black by the way, as I'm sure his emphatic delivery of every line will annoy some people so much that they'll immediately hate the film. The take by the writers was clearly 'Idiotic Comedy' and they've knocked that out of the park.
Let any prejudice go and just have some mindless, stupid fun. I did and I felt better for it.
You know what, everyone in the cinema had a blast too. Lots of laughing and joking. The internet memes and GIFs aren't wrong. I felt like it got more laughs than a straight up comedy to be fair.
Anyone who steps into a theatre to watch A Minecraft Movie expecting cinematic greatness should have their head examined. It's not that. Let it go. It's deliberately dumb and fantastic fun.

See it in a busy cinema if you can.
