Mine hasn't shipped yet from zavvi (I ordered it when it came back in stock). I'm super worried thst it's gonna get cancelled. Hopefully it's just taking l9nger to sort stuff out since I live in AUS ( been like 4 days since I ordered it)

I got mine earlier in the week and arrived with casing badly damaged not even unsealed yet as I have some a chargeback and retailer is doing nothing about it and the reason for the chargeback, they say it’s minor which is insulting and over me 10% I said no chance will not even let me return etc etc.
And it’s pods the steels are damaged I have kept it sealed as doing a chargeback and not sure if it needs to be how I received it.
It’s crazy as the retailer I used a while back and was great spent a small fortune almost each month on them and this is now how they pay you back.
I am going to name and shame them eventually if or when this is sorted out.
But I can’t believe my bad luck it was in it’s which box in a outer cardboard box and yet still got through cardboard and pushed into the thin part of the white box crushing the back end if casing and top in sane area.

Are they doing more of these? Or is what out there that’s it as I need to have a perfect copy and this is far from it.
I got the uk edition as that’s always my preference but if there are other options I may consider but I really am stress over how this one is being handled and if same will happen again regardless who I get from next.
I did have one ordered from zavvi but when I heard the send in a plastic bag I canceled it as my Connery set came in a bag and surprised it had no damage I can see still sealed.
But this nightmare came in another box and gets damaged.
I’m not interested in scalper prices either

Don’t buy from deff.com i ordered my nightmare from them and yes its been a nightmare, its arrived damaged even with it being boxed, i paid ups express and looks like something heavy damaged the steel box.
There was a hole in the cardboard box the size of say three fingers which also pushed the white box in on the casing and probably on the weakest part of the white box. I had hoped maybe no damage had reached the casing but it did it’s damaged at back of steel box and on top same area and not small either.
I actually opened it to see if steels was damaged luckily it was ok.
I have purchased from these guys a few years ago and purchased a lot from them and was great, they packed well and was my go to place. They then disappeared after a few years and after a few years recently are back.
I had my nightmare ordered elsewhere and when I found out it was being sent in a plastic bag i cancelled it.
And I got this from deff instead knowing from years back they pack well.
But as mine got damaged they did not want to know offered a 10% which I was not interested in and to return it at my cost, this would cost me a fortune to send back.
They then started ignoring me, I thought I still continue to fight over my damaged nightmare and order an other being desperate to get a copy with no damage.
They cancel it and said they will cancel any orders I make from now on.
Honest i thought zavvi was bad this people have changed and I was a previous good spending customer.
So for god sake hope you don’t get something damaged like I did or you be out of luck.
Now I hope I can still get one at a good price new and sealed somewhere soon as I’m really sick to the stomach to be honest how I been treated.

That's really odd Deff have always packed carefully and bubblewrapped everything.
Anything can get damaged even if packed correctly which isn't their fault but they are responsible for it.
They can't make you return at your cost for damage that's illegal, any place that is long distance selling is obligated to provide you with a full refund upon return,
if its for change of mind you pay, if it's damaged they pay because they are supposed to claim off the carrier they used.

What did you type to them were you courteous? i find it hard to believe they would react in such a way.
If they really won't provide free postage option for return, then u can contact credit card or paypal and dispute and get money back and they will be out of pocket for not dealing with it correctly.

But as mine got damaged they did not want to know offered a 10% which I was not interested in and to return it at my cost, this would cost me a fortune to send back.
Did you show them the damage?
Can you show us?
That's what Zavvi usually offers first as well, 10%.

Mine arrived today from Deff.com. I picked free UK postage and was delivered by UPS. Outer cardboard box, with the Warner Bros inner box wrapped in bubble wrap.
Collection box and SteelBooks in perfect condition, 'New Nightmare' loose disc. I happy with the retailer and better than scalper prices.

For those interested Amazon UK looks to have gotten a little restock of 3 units, I was able to buy it from the Amazon Australian store for $376 AUD (£186).

So this will be getting a reprint apparently.....

I'd argue we've now entered a realm where you can disregard any so called limited numbered editions delivered by Warner Bros.

I remember the first time WB tried it with Elf and I successfully shut it down (else we'd be getting identical numbered reprints).

Well they're clearly comfortable they've found their loophole (e.g. tweak a colour & remove/swap an item) to sell practically the same product. They've done this a few times now, albeit this is the laziest one yet.

WB editions especially I don't pay any attention to whether it's numbered now. Means very little unfortunately.

Warner Bros initial promise on this set was a "premium finish". So they didn't provide that and now it has lost it's exclusivity... for the price of £200. Fool me once.

At least the red interior of the case looks banging. Warner suck man. Cheap move. They're sticking up the middle finger to collectors as far as I'm concerned.
