Went with Best Buy, and after I took off the shrinkwrap there was a big gash under the J Card, which confuses me because the card itself looked unblemished. Thankfully, my Best Buy allowed me to swap it out for an undamaged one which I just procurred. Much happier now then I was a couple days ago!! Thank you, Best Buy for doing the right thing.

That would indicate that the gash was there before the J-card and the shrink-wrap was applied.

This happened to me once before with Zavvi. My wife bought me some steels for Christmas and one of them was Tremors. Strangely it had what appeared to be 3 paint depriving scratches on the front...under the shrinkwrap!!! I took pictures of that and sent to Zavvi, who I'm sure was as confused as me, but also did the right thing and got a pristine one to me pronto.
