Dude you're killin me
These pop art covers seem to be deeply hate among steelbook fans (this one included) yet they keep on producing them. Why?. They just don't work on steelbooks. As posters they might be OK but as artwork for a steelbook, they fail. the original classic poster artwork for Alien is amazing. Use that. Why would you want to use anything else.
Okay so I've had time to digest these now, earlier I see all the threads and the front covers but went straight into fight club (the one I've been for as a decent steel)
I'm a fan of pop art but these are just crazy bad. Every single one,
I can't even call them pop art
As someone said earlier. The two tone wave. Even though every one is black with another colour. Streaky matte will top these off as the worst steelbooks ever produced
Even the old wave for dazed and confused, blues brothers, lock stock etc were better
This is sadly the best one of a truly hideous wave
Front is passable by a hair line but that back is just p*ss poor
I'll 100% pass on all of them

I`m not a fan of these Pop-Art Steelbooks and I`m also not a Fan of releasing the same movies again and again and again. I love Alien but I already have several Steelbooks and regular Boxset, so I`m not interested in this.
This artwork is an accident. The entire wave is horrible, I hope Fox fire the responsible "artist"!

Crazy. To their neighbouring country The Netherlands it's €6 for 1 steelbook, amaray or even cd.
Most expensive of all European Amazon sites. Have asked them about it before, no satisfying response though.
I would not be surprised if this wave of steelbooks gets a UK release

Crikey there will be lot of unsold steelbooks if these are getting a trade wide release in Europe/USA etc
These are going to end up in bargain bin at mad low prices

When shipping to the US, they drop the prices by 19% (German VAT).Crazy. To their neighbouring country The Netherlands it's €6 for 1 steelbook, amaray or even cd.

Full Gloss wave with some rather better than others and all looking better in the flesh than in mock-up . . . although artwork may be a bit underwhelming there is at least internal artwork and those glossy cover colours are gorgeous.
I'd pay the equivalent of 50 Euros for the set of ten.
