Yes the Blu-ray it's no longer available it was a exclusive limited edition crowdfunded made-to-order independent release only direct from CreatorVC
The Blu-ray did not get a general trade wide retail release

They are only selling the Digital Version now to download from the webstore does not include the Blu-ray disc extras
It's just Aliens Expanded Documentary, OST Soundtrack from New Retro Wave, Original Score from Txema Cabria, Desktop & Cell wall paper + celebratory booklet (File Size 14.5 GB)

fyi, essentially what they are doing is re-releasing the initial blu-ray and also the second disc that was originally sold afterwards/separately. what they list above is i think the same as what was on the combined releases previously. i was an initial investor, so bought mine when each came out, but i think it's great that others who missed out on the physical releases will get the chance to buy one or the other. Creator VC has had a lot of buzz recently since they finally got Kurt Russell to join everyone else they had on board for their companion doc on The Thing, which comes out shortly, so it's a good move to capitalise.

Thinking back, I was well up for it until I saw the price. The 40th Anniversary edition will probably cost even more.

I backed their The Thing Expanded project and added Aliens Expanded bluray for £38. Definitely better than the £100 they were originally asking for.

I’ve bought into The Thing Expanded, which I assume is why I got the email. I’m not sure if I’d go for Aliens. Love the movie, don’t get me wrong, but The Thing is far more my cup of tea. So, yeah, dunno.

I’d love to see an Expanded of the original Alien.
