UPDATE : they just sent me a message apologizing and told me that it was just a missunderstanding.
They now have sent the order with a new tracking. Case closed it seems (i hope). We'll see in a few days.
 
Asendia is the worst courier service I've ever known, they lost the two shipments that Cinemuseum sent me.
Now, in honor of the truth, CM was always helping me at all time. And always they were very polite -friendly and always understood my frustration with the long delay of shipping
I do not understand why CM does not offer an optional expensive shipping service.
I am shaking just thinking about the next Casino delivery.

New service will be vailable from summer 2020. We're working on website to change complete checkout structure.
It's not easy (and not fast) changing procedure for shipments and prices offered by DHL service are very expensive!
 
Not the first time there’s one of these CS “misunderstandings”.

Misunderstandings happen whe peoples speak different laguages and we must answer on multiple platforms.
Custom service works throug CM store email and private messages to me should be sent just to communicate or share informations.
I can't understand how is possible to speak about company like "cheaters" or even worst after 15 releases and more than 6000 parcels shipped and delivered (even if waiting time is still too long).
 
Received my combo pack 2 days ago in the US. Gorgeous release as always, that 120 pages journal, wow what a nice special gift!!:) both slips are fantastic, especially the full slip. One nice thing I didn’t expect is that Amaray has it’s own slip cover within the Full Slip, that way the whole package looks just awesome!
All that being said, 6 months waiting time is a little bit over the top. Cinemuseum’s products are definitely top notch in terms of the quality and art, but waiting time is just too much, and I don’t see it getting better, pre-orders are stocking up with fewer releases being actually released at the same time. Maybe slow down pre-orders and catch up with what people already paid for?... just a friendly suggestion.

Was yours sent through Asendia? How long did it take from when you received shipping notification to receiving it in the US? Just trying to gauge when I should expect mine at the door. I got my shipping notification last week. Thanks.

Yeah, it was Asendia. My tracking says label was created on 17-Jan. It arrived to US on 27-Jan, on my doorstep 01-Feb. Tracking was pretty detailed too, with a lot of intermediate facility scans in Europe.

I'm not sure why you decided to quote me, but since you poked, I'll oblige.

I am not suggesting a language barrier doesn't exist, it does, well sort of... It exists because it's obvious English isn't your first language, that's not a crime, but yet it's good enough when self promoting. Why isn't it ever a barrier when you self-promote? (And I am in no way saying you shouldn't!) Well, the answer is quite obvious, because there is no such huge language barrier. It only happens when you are called out. It's not the first time, and it probably won't be the last.
Take ty's latest example, she had received a tracking number weeks ago, where was the language barrier then? Apparently that tracking number didn't update, in what way, shape or form was that a language barrier? She asked you, I hope politely, for a quick resolution to her situation. You (or whoever in CM's organization) sent her a unwarranted message going as far as telling her what she could or couldn't do on forums. Was there a language barrier when you asked her, as she claims, not to say anything? Was there a language barrier when you told her, as she claims, all remaining preorders with CM would be cancelled? Or was that more of a threat than of a language barrier? :naughty:
Ty's situation is now resolved, yay, but just as the last one that I remember from months ago (not ty, some other ninja), it was only resolved to satisfaction once the problem was aired out in public. Funny how that works out, there's a language barrier when it's private, but once the threats don't have effect and it's public knowledge, alas, no more language barrier.

I haven't said CM or you for that matter are "cheaters or even worse [sic]". If you think I did you'll have to quote me. Lately, I've even started a couple of CM threads for you to promote your work!!
In fact, I think your product is rather good (not the best, don't let it get to your head, but good) when it actually gets into people's hands. I even have a couple myself that I've picked up when my taste in "art" and yours align, which isn't often, not sure who's fault that is, it could be mine but I think it's yours :giggle: But the quality is there, even when I don't get any myself, so kudos for not cheaping out on paper and glue.
It has to be said though that your customer service is rather bad (threats alone are enough for this rating in my book), and your logistics partner is subpar in every way.
As has been said before by others, you do a pre-order every month but you don't release every month as you are running some editions behind, no doubt due to delays beyond your control. The longer you let that run the worse it's going to get.

I think there's an easy fix to it all, but who knows, it's not my place to say. Good luck.

6 months to wait for a release from some of the comments way over the top to wait glad I've never pre ordered . Also reading how the customer service handle issues trying to hide it behind the scenes and then blame language barrier if true is shocking.

After they have sent the lenti only instead of the combo, I quickly got a 2nd tracking number and the Combo pack already arrived a few days ago. :thumbs:
 
Actually I would have liked to see some published photos of Alita after many hours spent working on this project.
I no longer want to comment on customer servic that should be managed privately and not in public where anyone can make judgments to be effective.
I hope to see your photos very soon ... I believe that the quality of ALITA CMA # 13 would deserve it ...
