Dammit! Why couldn't the tri-pack have gone up for pre-order a week ago when the only ones who wanted it were the ones that were going to order all three anyway...

:p

I'm still struggling to decided which one to get. :wtf:
Since the slip looks like it doesn't have space for the booklet, I think I will go for one of the lenticulars.

All the prices quoted by Fajiats are all effective AFTER the pre-order special tomorrow. If you check the individual prices in the quote, those are the retail prices as well.Everyone is safe.No worries...

Can someone tell me what is the Buzz is about this movie ?

I understand the buzz of a kimchi release but for me I've never heard of this movie, what so special about this movie that Kimchi decided to make a release out of it ?

I don't have any idea why they'd release this as an exclusive. :wtf: There seem to be a lot of people that like this movie, but I can't see why. The missus and I couldn't even make it through half of the movie, but to each his/her own.

Thanks for the reply, appreciated. Yes I know I am puzzled about this choice when there so many movies that would be better suited for a kimchi release, in my humble opinion. I have much respect for the Kimchi team so I don't mean any disrespect.

So how do you define a Kimchi release? Amelie is a brilliant film and just because some people are not familiar with it doesn't mean it doesn't deserve a kimchi release.

you are absolutely right, but when I started collecting and discovered kimchi, it was all about Monsters Inc, Monsters University, Thor, Frozen etc... so even though I know they do release movies like Le Grand Bleu or Le pianiste my point of view right now as a collector is I am more interested in the veins of movies that are more what I discovered from kimchi when I started collecting...

To each their own, but Amelie is a wonderfully charming movie that appeals to a lot of people, hence it's consistently high ratings. Perfect doses of heart, humor and quirk with clever direction and a lead that couldn't have been more perfect in the role. More deserving of a steel than 20 crappy superhero movies combined.

You mean children's films? ('Thor' excepted!) :p

......and three of the four that you mention are just the worldwide releases dressed up in the emperor's new clothes, at least the Amelie steelbook is exclusive to Korea, if not to KimChi.

HAHAHA lmaf huess so :hilarious: but I agree with you, it is more unique than the ones I mentionned but I'm a kid at heart... although I did mentionas I am a huge huge SUNDANCE festival film lover, I had stated that they should take some of those sundance gems and make some exclusive Kimchi release outta them as other wise they don't get the packaging treatment that they so deserve.

*******Sundance Festival nominated and winning movies should be considered !!!
